Acaraki® Temu Mangga

"Jamu" comes from the word "Djampi" which means prayer, and "Oesodo" which means health. It can be intrepreted as a prayer from the ancestors for the next generation. When we met Acaraki team, we could feel their contagious passion for Jamu and their mission to pass down this heritage to younger generation.

We worked together for their new Jamu variant packaging, Temu Mangga, one of ginger family plants which has been used for generations by the Javanese, believed to be helpful in treating stomachaches, fevers, tumors, and cancer.
A packaging design project for Acaraki's new product called Temu Mangga, an Indonesian jamu (herbal drink) orginated from Tawangmangu, Indonesia. We worked together to tell the story of Tawangmangu in illustration, to display it in a fun manner.
